Blog Tour: Pierced by Love

Preface: Sorry it is so late. I have been super busy all day with family stuff, it is Christmas after all. Better late than never, right? J

About the author:
Laura Walker grew up in southern Arizona. She met her husband, Rob, at Northern Arizona University where she earned her bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She and Rob are raising their six children. Her hobbies include water aerobics and sewing. At the end of the day, Laura loves to curl up with a good book or write one of her own. Pierced by Love is her first published novel.

About the book:
Noelle Jensen doesn’t want to like Pierce Logan. After her boyfriend breaks up with her for her sister, Noelle is done with love. Plus Pierce Logan has commitment issues because of his parents’ divorce and a strained relationship with his dad. But as Pierce and Noelle inadvertently help each other to open up their hearts, they also rediscover the importance of family and love.

My thoughts:
Loved it! What else is there to say? It is extremely refreshing to find a clean and endearing romance novel. Laura L. Walker creates a beautiful story of heartbreak, love and forgiveness. Don't forget your tissue box!

First, let me start by saying I would have had a very hard time forgiving my sister. And Chase is a dog (just had to throw that in there). Noelle is a much bigger person than I. I cannot even imagine the heartbreak of thinking you’re about to be proposed to only to find out your boyfriend has been secretly dating your sister behind your back. Pierce is a knight in disguise; chivalry is not dead in Flagstaff, AZ. Noelle and Pierce are brought together by their family issues and as it often does, friendship blooms into so much more.
I would recommend this book to girls of all ages that love a good clean love story. Pierced by Love has been available for purchase since December 9th, why haven’t you gotten your own copy yet?

And the winner is.....

And the winner is.....Betty Taylor. Here she is reading the copy she got in the mail this morning.

She is my husband's grandmother and for some reason the thought of having family read my book scares me more than anything else. I would rather have strangers read it. Oh well.

My book went to press today, this morning. That means only 64 days until it is released to THE WORLD! Am I scared? Um, only just a WHOLE LOT!

With over 30 delicious new bonus recipes, including Roasted Garlic Shrimp, Inside Out Burgers, Faux Deviled Eggs, you’ll always be ready for healthy eating.

What I thought:

I absolutely loved this cookbook/instructional manual. I have to be honest; I wanted to join this blog tour because I have always wanted to try the Paleo diet but was afraid it would be hard. WRONG-O! Not only is it pretty straight forward, it is delicious. In this book, Elizabeth offers advice to her readers on how to change their eating habits regardless of what their budget may be. She explains how important it is to meal plan when trying to stick to a budget. Her writing is full of energy and heart, I enjoyed every minute of it. The pre-done meal plans take any guess work out of Paleo. There are lots of yummy recipes in this book, but you should also check out her website
www.paleoonabudget.com it has tons of recipes updated frequently, as well as store sales. My advice: Run, don't walk, to the nearest bookstore and get your very own copy.
