Signed Copies

I have been doing several book signings with amazing authors. It has been so fun to get to know other people going through the same thing as me. We did a singing in Goodyear and Saturday we were in Tucson. I will also be in Flagstaff Saturday April 25th at 1 pm.

If anybody is unable to make it out to the signings on the day, we always sign a few copies and leave them at the Barnes and Noble. So you can still get your signed copy if you want.

Now it is time to announce my first Goodreads giveaway. Do you want to win a signed copy of my book? Well now is your chance! Head on over to Goodreads and enter to win one of your very own.

Thanks for all of your support and I look forward to seeing all of you in person at one of my many future signings.

Release day and Blog tour

I'm totally stoked because today (February 10th, 2015) is my official release date for my debut novel, Midnight Runner. Then I turn on the internet and remember that my blog tour started on Monday the 8th. What?!
Why have I not been checking these out?
Flash forward to tears of JOY! I love when people enjoy my book, but (not to offend anyone) I have to say when it is a complete stranger (that has no knowledge of my self-consciousness) loves my book it has to be the best feeling in the world!
Not everyone will love it, nobody can please everybody, I have always been told (and have heard from a NY Times best selling author) you should always have both positive and negative or neutral reviews.
So here is the schedule for my blog tour, I encourage all to check it out. (especially I love to read and review books)

EXTRA EXTRA! The trailer is up and running

I have some really amazing nephews (and nieces for that matter) but on this post I'm giving a shout out to my awesome nephew, Timothy Batson. He does some great video editing work. From Patriotic slide shows to birthday videos, he's the best. He has done it yet again. There is now a trailer for my novel up on Youtube, all thanks to the very hard work of one Timothy Batson. If you have a minute click on this link and check it out!  http://youtu.be/Sr14uGGWeP8

So I have already given away my advanced reader's copy, but Cedar Fort has been sitting on another one, just for you. Yes you! They are now doing a giveaway. It ends January 21st so hurry! Here is a link to the giveaway on their Facebook page

Also there is still room on my blog tour. If you are interested in joining here is the link for that https://www.facebook.com/cedarfortbooks

As I sit here looking at the calender I notice that today is Tuesday January 20th. That means there are only 3, YES 3 weeks, until my book is released. That is ONLY 21 days! 21 days until I am exposed to the world for judgement and criticism. But I'm not nervous, I'm TERRIFIED! (Deep breath)

Okay, sorry about that, just a little freak out. Go ahead and enter to win! Good luck, I hope you win. :)

Blog Tour: Pierced by Love

Preface: Sorry it is so late. I have been super busy all day with family stuff, it is Christmas after all. Better late than never, right? J

About the author:
Laura Walker grew up in southern Arizona. She met her husband, Rob, at Northern Arizona University where she earned her bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She and Rob are raising their six children. Her hobbies include water aerobics and sewing. At the end of the day, Laura loves to curl up with a good book or write one of her own. Pierced by Love is her first published novel.

About the book:
Noelle Jensen doesn’t want to like Pierce Logan. After her boyfriend breaks up with her for her sister, Noelle is done with love. Plus Pierce Logan has commitment issues because of his parents’ divorce and a strained relationship with his dad. But as Pierce and Noelle inadvertently help each other to open up their hearts, they also rediscover the importance of family and love.

My thoughts:
Loved it! What else is there to say? It is extremely refreshing to find a clean and endearing romance novel. Laura L. Walker creates a beautiful story of heartbreak, love and forgiveness. Don't forget your tissue box!

First, let me start by saying I would have had a very hard time forgiving my sister. And Chase is a dog (just had to throw that in there). Noelle is a much bigger person than I. I cannot even imagine the heartbreak of thinking you’re about to be proposed to only to find out your boyfriend has been secretly dating your sister behind your back. Pierce is a knight in disguise; chivalry is not dead in Flagstaff, AZ. Noelle and Pierce are brought together by their family issues and as it often does, friendship blooms into so much more.
I would recommend this book to girls of all ages that love a good clean love story. Pierced by Love has been available for purchase since December 9th, why haven’t you gotten your own copy yet?
